DuPont, global chemical material manufacturer, will build a factory in South Korea for manufacturing Extreme Ultra Violet (EUV) Photo-Resist, a core semiconductor material. EUV Photo-Resist is one of the three major products that Japan has restricted last year to S.Korea. It is expected that domestic procurement will kick off in early next year. According to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of S.Korea, DuPont filed an investment report with S.Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) on September 9 to build a EUV Photo-Resist production factory in S.Korea. On August 8, Mr. YUNMO SEON’, the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy of S.Korea, met directly with the President John Kemp of DuPont of the United States.
