BONG, JOONHO's K-Movie “Parasite” Wins the Best Foreign Language Film at the Golden Globe Awards in the U.S.
According to the New York Times and other foreign media sources,
“Parasite” won the Foreign Language Film Award at the 77th Golden Globe Awards,
held at the Beverly Hills Hotel in the Los Angeles, U.S. This is the first time
in history that a Korean movie has won at the Golden Globe Award nomination.
The “Parasite” is named as the Awardee among the other excellent
candidates such as "Pain and
Glory", directed by Pedro Almodóvar from Spain, "The Farewell",
directed by Lulu Wang from China, "Les Miserables", directed by Ladj
Ly from France and "Portrait of a Lady on Fire", directed by Céline
Sciamma from France.

Last year, the movie “Parasite” won the Palme d'Or at the
72nd Cannes International Film Festival in France, which is the first in all
time of Korean film history, and the movie is also nominated for the 92nd Academy
Awards nominee, coming up next month.
