South Korea’s Tech Conglomerate SAMSUNG Electronics Tops in 5G Telecommunication Market Share in 2019
According to Dell’Oro, a global market research firm, Samsung posted a market share of 37 percent from the fourth quarter of last year to the first quarter of this year. Huawei came in second with 28 percent, followed by Ericsson with 27 percent and Nokia with 8 percent.

Over 5G network, United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo signals Europe not to trust Chinese firms but to credit S.Korean company SAMSUNG and European company such as NOKIA and ERICSSON for national security.

SAMSUNG is selected to be 5G equipment provider to Japan, which is also supplying 5G to S.Korean mobile operators and Verizon in the United States as well.
