Bum Kun Cha received the Honorable Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany
On November 22, 2019, the Best Asian Footballer of the 20th century, Bum Kun Cha (A.K.A. CHA BOOM!) from South Korea, received the Honorable Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany(Verdienstorden der Bundesrepublik Deutschland), which is the only federal decoration of Germany. Only 4 German football stars all time in history received this honor who are Gerd Müller, Rudi Völler, Joachim Löw, and Jürgen Klinsmann.
